The 2016 MT-03 revived the name on a completely new platform: a 321 cc parallel twin derived from the YZF-R3, wrapped in a naked, upright package with wide bars. It replaced the old 660 cc single and gave Yamaha an accessible, lightweight roadster; some markets knew it as the FZ-03.
